Lauren (Aya Cash) use to work for Senator John McDowell (Zach Grenier). She is now is a lobbyist. Her friend Kate (Gillian Jacobs) is one too. They are a function where other politicians are at.

Kate approaches Representative Sydney Millsap (Eisa Davis). She is the first African American women representative from Texas. Her husband was in the military and was killed in action. Sydney has high standards and will not meet with one of Kates clients. The deal is her client would donate money to Sydney’s campaign in return for passing a bill in Congress that the company would benefit from. Sydney wants to represent the people not the business men.

Sydney decides to run against Senator John McDowell. She ahead in the poles with the senator. All hell breaks loose. I’m not telling; but it’s dirty as politics can be. We are seeing it now with this current administration.

The cast does a great job.

Most intriguing is the stage hands use what sets are there and make it into a different location as the cast changes clothes. The audience is on either side of the stage.
