Mrs. Wormwood (Lesli Margherita) doesn’t realize she is pregnant.  She thinks she has gas! Mr. Wormwood (Matt Harrington) is disappointed it’s a girl.  They name their daughter Matilda.  She is a gifted child.  She loves reading books that are for adults and making up stories.  The Librarian Mrs. Phelps (Celia Mei Rubin) is thrilled to hear them.   Her dad always addresses her as boy, “I’m a girl” she always replies.  Mr. Wormwood scorns on at the books she is reading.

Her father decides to send her to school run by Miss. Trunchbull (Christopher Sieber). She is one tough cookie!  You don’t mess with her or you will regret it.

One of Matilda’s teachers, Miss Honey (Alison Luff) recognizes she is a gifted child.   Miss. Honey wins Matilda’s trust.

The story revolves around Matilda life in school, home and the Library.

This is a fun show to see. In some scenes the cast runs around the orchestra. Confetti comes down on the audience in front of the stage.

Christopher Sieber is hilarious in his role. He does an outstanding job.

Matt Harrington is fantastic as her slimy father.  He is a riot.

Alison Luff and Lesli Margherita shine.

The kids are great, all of them!  There are four different Matilda's.

The set is cleaver, especially how it comes together.
